Profile:
My background is in IT, having qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Computing. My initial work experience is in systems administration and support for mainframe systems. In the course of my work, I have also acquired skills in implementation and support within the confines of the Personal Computer, desktop applications and peripherals. I then moved into Project Management and took on the role as Project Manager in various areas, namely education & healthcare projects, for the past 9 years. Writing, proofreading and editing of various types of reports, documents and technical manuals were part and parcel of my project responsibilities. I was also directly involved in translating official documents (Standard Operating Procedures, reports, etc) for a large semi-government teaching hospital in Malaysia from Bahasa Malaysia to English and vice versa. Later, I assisted in a helpdesk environment for customer support in terms of hardware, application and network infrastructure.
