Mr. Edwin Engbat A. Gara is a Trainer with accredited degrees in multiple disciplines and extensive experience in his fields of expertise. He holds a Master in Business Administration majoring in Human Dynamic from University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and a Bachelor of Corporate Administration from MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Malaysia and is one of the Lecturer/Tutor to the Faculty of Business and Management Open University Malaysia (OUM). He has a Diploma in Public Administration from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) Malaysia, Teaching Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training from TAFE Australia(2001), Certificate in Productivity and Quality from Singapore and AOTS Japan(2003) and Certificate in Electrical(2002) and is a registered Quality Management Systems (QMS) Assessor under IRCA (UK). Mr. Edwin Engbat A. Gara has many years experience in Quality management System, Internal and Vendors Quality Auditing and have helped many people and Organization in Quality and productivity training from various industries related to quality and management programs.
In the field of Management, Mr. Edwin Engbat has 17 years direct experience in implementing Human Resources Management in Oil and Gas, banking & finance, Corporate secretarial and QMS programs in various industries such as training and education, tourism, plantation, milling oil and gas, Aviation and banking services. He, led Sarawak Skills Development Centre as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and managing the quality system to be the 1st Skills Centre in Sarawak to be accredited ISO 9001. He headed the Quality Unit of PPKS and became the Principal Coordinator for Quality Improvement Programs for PPKS 5S Good Housekeeping and implement of ISO 9001. He holds various key positions in corporate sector such as Bank Officer, Company Secretary, Quality Management Representative, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager, lecturer and trainer and was attached to US multinational oil and Gas Company operated in Asia Pacific as Human Resources Manager.
His unique academic background and working experiences enable him to integrate Company Secretarial, Human Development and Organizational development and customize them to meet his client’s requirements.
