Job/Project Title : Project Interior Designer / Architecture Draftmen

Summary of Job description:
Formulate environmental plan to be practical based on the business plan, esthetic use of materials and lighting effects, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising visibility to target audiences and productivity or selling merchandise.

Research, Select or design, and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories for the project.

Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.

Plan and design interior environments for public and commercial buildings, hotels, serviced apartments, shops and retails and other enclosed spaces.

Advise client on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, and color coordination.

Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings. 3D rendering is optional but a bonus if it is possible.

Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval.

Subcontract fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture, and related items.

Complex Problem Solving -- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Management of Material Resources -- Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.

Visualization -- The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

Originality -- The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.

Fluency of Ideas -- The ability to come up with a number of ideas about a topic (the number of ideas is important, not their quality, correctness, or creativity).

Oral Expression -- The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

Oral Comprehension -- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
