Summary of Job description:
A leading US based software house requires an experienced PHP developer for immediate hiring at their Karachi offices. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of OOP and should have solid experience in PHP, MySQL, Ajax, HTML, CSS & JavaScript.


Specific Skill required:
Must have extensive knowledge & hands-on experience of all of the following:

* Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
* Advanced PHP, XHTML/HTML
* JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, Apache and Linux
* Open Source libraries (PEAR, Zend, Ion Cube, etc.)
* CMS (Nukes, Joomla, Mambo, etc.)

Experience of Payment Gateway, Shopping Cart, Content Management System, API Integration, Merchant Account setup will be a plus.
Good English writing skills will be a big plus.

The candidate will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several web application projects with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code. You should know PHP & MySQL like the back of your hand.

Knowledge of some or all of following will be an added advantage:
Experience of working with other programming languages such as ASP.NET, Classic ASP, CFML, and Dynamic Flash Programming will be a definite plus. Third Party components integration experience will be a plus.

Compensation:
The selected candidate will be offered a handsome 5-figure salary.
Successful completion of projects with due quality and within the given deadline will bring handsome bonuses.
In case of additional workload, there is also a provision to work-from-home in addition to office work and compensation for additional efforts.
