Summary of Job description:
The Hong Kong Association of Educational Publishers is currently looking for individuals across the Asia Pacific to undertake freelance assignments.

Projects include writing and editing of materials for supplementary textbooks for the Hong Kong ESL market and the wider Asian EFL markets.

All work maybe conducted from your home country in liaison with our in-house staff in Hong Kong or our local representatives in your country of residence.

Details of previous employment (including freelance projects);
Qualifications;
Area(s) of specialisation;
Preference for writing or editorial projects;
Expected remuneration;

Specific Skill required:
What we're looking for:
1. University graduates, preferably majoring in English language or Education.
2. Experience of teaching English as a second or foreign language,
3. Awareness of current educational trends and practises.
4. Sensitivity to the needs of Asian students learning English and cultural factors that may influence writing style and content
5. Disciplined time- and project-management skills.
6. An ability to work under the pressure of time constraints.
7. An ability to communicate effectively with all parties in the project, from editorial and design personnel to authors, consultants and senior management.
8. Availability to work full time as a freelancer (for some projects)
